Turn one mechanism into three clear scenes.
Example: explain an API with a request, a process and a response. Let each scene answer one question.
A scene plan you can sketch first
Choose visuals that show what changes rather than unrelated decoration.
- Request: show a phone sending a city name to a weather service.
- Process: highlight the service reading the request and looking up data.
- Response: bring the forecast back and update the phone display.
Choose a visual form that fits the explanation
Starter includes network, process, bars, orbit and split-style diagram components. Use a network to show a connection, a process for ordered steps, and bars only when the script has meaningful quantities.
- Label the object being explained, not every object on screen.
- Keep direction and colour consistent across related scenes.
- Use motion to follow the request; hold the result long enough to read.
Choose a workflow, not just a prompt
A useful explainer needs an accurate script, understandable visuals and narration that fits the pace. These kits organize that production process around your own API accounts and local Remotion project.
Map one mechanism per scene
For a camera explainer, separate light, lens, aperture, shutter and sensor. Decide what each shot needs to teach. Label the relevant part and animate the change being explained. Review the science instead of relying on an AI draft alone.
Plan assets before rendering
Use appropriate SVG diagrams, icons, illustrations or licensed images. Pro includes Google AI image workflow guidance; inspect generated assets for accuracy and consistency. A kit does not guarantee cinematic footage or a particular visual result.
Preview at the format you will publish
Choose an aspect ratio that fits the destination and keep text readable on a phone. Check the project configuration and source assets before selecting resolution or frame rate. Max includes 1080p / 60 fps workflow presets; your computer and chosen render settings determine performance.
